I’m a third year medical student driving in the fast lane but on the perpetual search for moments of stillness. Back in college, I spent a semester living in Barcelona, Spain and traveling around Europe (often alone!) where I found my truest self and reignited my passions for travel, people, and life. After countless years of contemplation, research, and convincing myself to get over my fears, I’ve finally decided to start my own blog. With this blog, (aside from sharing my experiences in medical school, traveling, and life) I want to support, inspire, and empower. This blog was made for the creatives and the medical nerds, for the phenomenals that have struggled, and for the outcasts striving to find a unique flow in a world determined to confine us within structured boxes. This blog was made for YOU.
Day to day, I balance between doing rotations as an intern, studying, working out, meetings, taking care of my husky pup Kovu, and maintaining my relationships with my loved ones. Some days I have it all together. Other days I need a glass of wine and a long cuddle sesh with my pup! Regardless of the day, I feel so honored and so blessed to be right where I am. I have never been more in love with and excited about life, and I think studying medicine and creating this blog play huge roles in that. It really is incredible what can happen when you challenge your fears and allow yourself to be led by your heart.
I strive to live every moment consciously, authentically, and gratefully – as an aspiring light in the dark & firm believer in “the journey”. There is still so much more to learn about ourselves, the world, and (of course) medicine, and I’m excited to see where this journey takes us. Thanks for following along and sharing this beautiful life with me!
